Energize Your Application Effort

A little over two years ago, a few extra pounds and the approaching
arrival of our first grandchild convinced me I had to become more
serious about cardio-vascular fitness. I've always been a walker, but
I had to admit that my half hour strolls around the neighborhood
weren't quite vigorous enough. I hadn't been to a gym in 20 years, but
I decided to try one and discovered that the energy in the workout room
actually made the workout easier. Being with a group of people engaged
in the same activity simply energizes and motivates.
I had a
similar experience at a leading consulting company, where I led for
the first time an application workshop, "Mapping Your Application
Essays" as part of MBA Admissions Advantage
(TM), a modular seminar that Maxx Duffy and I have developed and
presented to leading consulting firms and investment banks. Its modules
are the basis for MBA Admissions BlastOff (TM), the 2-day MBA admissions immersion program we are offering directly to MBA applicants on September 2-3.
As the participants in "Mapping Your Application Essays" began to apply the principles they had learned during earlier presentations, energy and dynamism filled the room. The two hours flew by as the group of applicants rapidly progressed through the mapping process and began outlining essays. Again, engaging in the same activity, albeit independently, electrified the participants. They attacked their essays with a zeal, enthusiasm, and vigor that surprised them and me.
You can tap into that energy and dynamic when you attend MBA Admissions BlastOff.
We will both teach the essay mapping technique as well as lead
workshops where you can map your essays, outline them, and draft them.
And receive feedback as you go.
Plus you can preview MBA Admissions BlastOff at the next free BlastOff teleseminar on Wednesday July 12 at 6:00 PM PT/9:00 PM ET. Maxx and I will cover:
