The Financial Times published this week its ranking of international MBA programs. The top ten are:
- Wharton
- Harvard
- Stanford
- Columbia
- London Business School
- Chicago
- NYU Stern
- Insead
- Dartmouth (Tuck)
- MIT Sloan
It is critical when using the rankings that you understand what they measure. The
FT rankings
are "based on three sets of criteria: the career progress of alumni
from the school, the international make-up of the school and how
effectively the school generates new ideas." The table linked to above
lays out clearly what is measured and how it is weighed in the overall
ranking. In addition, you can rank schools based on individual criteria
of your choice.
